The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is seeking a Grants Administrator to join their team at the Midrand (Alexander) Local Office in the Johannesburg District. If you’re passionate about serving your community and have the required qualifications, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)
  • Skills: Computer literacy is essential

Added Advantage:

  • A valid driver’s license
  • Administrative/clerical experience

Key Responsibilities

As a Grants Administrator, you will:

  • Assist in administering social grants at the local office level.
  • Provide excellent customer care services.
  • Effectively screen and process all grant applications.
  • Conduct quality control on grant applications.
  • Handle medical, beneficiary maintenance, and payment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, Part 3).
