1. Maintenance Officer (MR1-MR5) (X4 Posts)

  • Salary: R239 673 – R1 053 387 per annum (in line with OSD determination)
  • Locations:
    • Kroonstad Magistrate Office (Ref No: 24/08/FS)
    • Pietermaritzburg Magistrate Court (Ref No: 24/03/KZN)
    • Ubombo Magistrate Court (Ref No: 24/04/KZN)
    • Praktiseer Magistrate Court (Ref No: 01/24/LMP)
Requirements:
  • LLB Degree or a four (4) year recognized legal qualification.
  • Knowledge of Maintenance Act, family law matters, and maintenance system.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Duties:
  • Perform duties under the Maintenance Act.
  • Obtain financial information for maintenance enquiries.
  • Guide Maintenance Investigators.
  • Appear in Maintenance Court for proceedings.

Requirements:
  • LLB Degree with at least 2 years of post-qualification legal experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g., Estates Act, Insolvency Act).
Duties:
  • Manage administration of deceased estates, insolvent estates, trusts, and curatorships.
  • Provide strategic direction and monitor policy implementation.
