Assmang Proprietary Limited was incorporated in the Republic of South Africa in 1935, and operates through three key divisions: iron ore, manganese and the smelting operations. It is owned jointly by Assore South Africa Proprietary Limited (Assore) and African Rainbow Minerals Limited (ARM), listed on South Africa’s premier stock exchange, the JSE Limited, under the symbol ARI. ARM provides administration and technical functions, while Assore performs the sales and marketing function.

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- N2 Certificate in relevant trade subjects (Mathematics, Engineering Science, Trade Theory, Industrial Electronics)
- Valid Code B Driving License
Required Competencies:
- Behavioral: Basic self-leadership, assertiveness, communication, problem-solving, and conflict management skills
- System Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Technical: Operation and maintenance of medium voltage switchgear and distribution networks
- Foundational Business Acumen: Basic financial management skills
Responsibilities:

- Contribute to team performance and maintain good team relationships
- Use and maintain tools, equipment, and safety clothing
- Complete trade test training and on-the-job training
