Lactalis South Africa (LSA) invites graduates to apply for general worker vacancy in Bonnievale, Western Cape, South Africa.

Job Description
Join Lactalis SA at our Bonnievale Plant in the CIP department with the main responsibilities for cleaning of Tankers and General housekeeping of department. Successful candidates need to have at least 2 years’ experience within CIP environment.  Must have complete basic dairy training course.   Must be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of food quality and full adherence to all Safety & Health policies, procedures and legislation. Be fluent in English and computer literate.
Required Skills
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the CIP environment
  • Computer literate
  • Person must not be afraid of heights.
  • Must be physically strong and fit.
  • To be accurate and have a sharp sense of punctuality.
  • To be reliable, trustworthy, pro-active and energetic
  • To be a team player
  • Not be afraid of heights and or suffer from claustrophobia.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing principles
  • Willing to work in bad weather conditions.
  • Willing to learn.
  • Willing to work shifts, long hours, weekends, public holidays, and overtime.
  • Willing to perform Ad hoc tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Cleaning of milk tankers on the outside
  • Cleaning of working area and equipment
  • Cleaning of ditches and mud holes
  • General tasks that might be assigned by the Team Leader
  • Cleaning of hand-wash-parts
  • Willing to assist in other departments when necessary.
