QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS LEVEL
Essential
- Matric and a minimum 3-5 years’ warehousing/picking experience within the Food Manufacturing/Processing/Warehousing Environment or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the Spice industry will be advantageous.
- Good working Knowledge of Syspro and WMS systems
- Valid Reach truck Drivers License
- Good knowledge and experience of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), FSSC, ISO standards and related in a regulated environment (e.g. Food Industry).
- Focused on delivering Quality products on time and in full within a regulated food environment.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
The main purpose of the Picker/Reach truck Driver is to pick Materials, Finished Goods, Marinades, BCE, Casings, Requisites, Consumables and other in the right quantity and according to the system requirements for Customer orders. Responsible for accurate system movement, handling and physical movement of all products and materials to eliminate loss or damage of products physically or in the system. Responsible for excellent hygiene, housekeeping and food safety standards in Warehouse.
